About the game

Dou Dizhu (“Fight the Landlord”) is a fast, bluff-heavy Chinese climbing card game for 3 players. One player becomes the Landlord and plays alone against the other two (Tenants), who win or lose together. Each turn you either beat the previous play with a stronger combo of the same type — pairs, triples, straights, bombs — or pass. First to empty their hand wins the pot. Rounds are quick (usually under 5 minutes) and the house uses a 55-card deck with a Wild that can stand in for any card.
